About this cartoon: Donald Trump continued his assault on the environment, assault on California and propping up of fossil-fuel industries by ordering renewed oil drilling off the nation's coasts. When the Republican governor of Florida objected, however, citing the negative impact on tourism, Trump quickly exempted that state. Similar requests by California and other "blue states" were ignored, although those states sued to prevent the new drilling.
